Adam Scott has been a favorite of ours for years, and a friend of Clare's. So when we wanted to create a men's capsule just in time for the holidays, he was the first person who came to mind—with style that melds so well with the Clare V. aesthetic.
When we first invited Adam into the office to discuss designs, he was excited about the prospects and immediately referenced 80s film icon Andrew McCarthy. He wanted items that could suit his busy travel and long hours on set—a bag big enough to fit scripts and a sweater or change of clothes when necessary. He asked that the back panel of the bag easily slide onto a roller suitcase for ease and we wove elements of Clare's father's briefcase from the 80s to complement the Andrew McCarthy vibe. Because Adam and his wife's production company is called Gettin' Rad, we decided to do a riff on that in french, bîen sur, with our Devient Rad t-shirt just for him (but the ladies will want to wear this one, too).
And, in partnership with Adam, Clare V. is proud to donate 10% of proceeds from the collaboration to the ALS Association: Golden West Chapter.
