Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Marketing Director, located in Los Angeles, CA. The Marketing Director will oversee market planning, manage marketing campaigns, conduct market research, and develop marketing strategies. They will also collaborate with sales teams to drive brand growth, identify market trends and opportunities, and ensure that marketing efforts align with business objectives. Based on candidate qualifications, the position may be upgraded to Senior Director level.

 

Duties

        Develop Return-On-Investment-driven marketing campaigns across channels, including direct mail, paid, email, social, influencer and affiliates. Monitor advertising performance, optimizing to meet ROI goals.

        Partner with key stakeholders to support business initiatives and help drive sales growth.

        Create and manage the marketing calendar

        Initiate and manage all relevant creative requests including writing briefs, tracking project deadlines, getting necessary approvals and sharing final deliverables with pertinent teams.

        Oversee digital advertising agency to best allocate ad spend, develop ongoing creative, make strategic optimizations and track performance

        Create strategies for growing brand awareness

        Implement strategies for growing our CRM lists including email and SMS.

        Ideate and drive marketing events for our retail stores to increase traffic, sales and continued relationships with our customers.

        Understand current customer profiles, identify segmentation opportunities, manage appropriate messaging tactics across all channels

        Oversee marketing tech stack, evaluating current tools and exploring new partners as needed.

        Liaise with key agency partners including direct mail, customer database agency and PR to provide in-house support, direction and strategy recommendations.

        Manage Digital Marketing Manager / Email Manager offering support on all Influencer, Digital Marketing, Email, SMS and Affiliate marketing initiatives.

        Manage team devoted to influencer program, developing relationships, creating content and collaboration opportunities and overseeing gifting programs

        Prepare and present weekly, quarterly and yearly marketing recaps

        Develop and manage annual marketing budget

        Ensure that messaging is consistent/brand-right across all channels

 

Experience/Characteristics

        8+ years experience in brand/performance marketing

        Experience in the fashion industry strongly preferred

        Proven ability to develop content strategies across channels (including paid, email, SMS, influencer, and affiliate) that achieve business goals

        Experience initiating and managing events/activations

        Ability to react and respond to changing business needs

        Excellent leadership and team management skills

        Excellent written and verbal communication

        A strong cross functional team player
