Constructed to be the perfect nautical footwear, these long-lasting boat shoes are made of a unique piece of hot stuff buffed leather conditioned with a rich combination of oils and waxes, then hand-sewn with the finest craftsmanship: enhanced by a natural polish quality, they come with leather sock lining, 360° rawhide lace system and non-marking antislip siped rubber soles to offer stable grip in all weather conditions. The "Portland" mocs bear in their very DNA an innate affection and bond towards the city of Portland, one of the largest seaports in New England, also host of a world famous Yachting Club.

About the Designer

Established in 1946, Sebago was born from a consumer demand for quality, casual footwear. An owner of five independent shoe stores in Maine was determined to keep his stores stocked. So, in the true spirit of New England ingenuity he partnered with two local businessmen and created a handsewn footwear factory. The original shoe they made, the Sebago Classic beefroll penny loafer, is made the same way today as it was back then...handsewn with the finest craftsmanship.
